Secrets Told! (Well, it's more like invaluable tips)
There are numerous factors (more than 200) that have to be addressed when creating your site for a top ten ranking. I will share several of them, but they will come over periods of time since there are so many. I will also indicate the importance of the subject. Ok. To start, here are some of the basics you will need to know to begin your quest for a top 10 ranking on Google (Your first SEO tips):
- Start with the Title (essential factor)of your page. Keyword use in document title should be relevant to the keywords you are using to submit your site to the search engines. The title can have 100% keyword density. (That put simply is, if you have a sentence with 10 words in it and one of the words is a keyword, then you have 10% keyword density, etc.).
- Global Link popularity (essential Factor) of your website. This measures how many websites link to your site. The number of links is not as important as the quality of the links. What you are looking for, in a nutshell, are links from Google, Live.com, Alexa, Yahoo, Digg, etc. When there are a lot of inbound links to your site (quality ones) then your site is "deemed" to be important thus helping your ranking. Here's the caveat. To get a high ranking on Google make sure the inbound links are also using the earch terms you are using on your site. You want relevant inbound links to your site.
- Keyword density (essential factor) of your page's content. Very simply you want to keep the density under 3%.
- Age of your website (domain name-very important). Because spam sites come and go so quickly, search engines tend to trust sites that have been around longer. This is simply because that figure can't be faked. If your website is new you can make up some of the difference in other important elements of your site.
